Treatment and Services
In my virtual practice, I hold supportive and non-judgmental space for healing, growth, and self-discovery for those with multiple marginalized identities. My therapy style is tailored to your needs and draws from my training in evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, including:
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
Psychodynamic therapy
Mindfulness
Multicultural and feminist therapies
We will both be active participants in the therapy relationship, collaborating to meet your goals through validation, exploration, and empathetic challenging. Sometimes our process looks like uncovering connections between your past and your present. It often includes accepting and reframing your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. We may also work to unlearn unhelpful ways of thinking or behaving and develop new cognitive and behavioral skills and strategies to improve mental health, cope with life’s challenges, and foster healthier relationships.
My clients are often BIPOC, immigrants, first-generation Americans, and those with LGBTQ+ identities, as well as interfaith and interracial couples. One of my specialities is working with South Asian clients
